all you need is LOVE
I got an e-mail message today from TheBeatles.com about an exclusive preview of four tracks fromt the upcoming LOVE album, which features 26 Beatles tracks re-worked by George and Giles Martin for the LOVE show in Las Vegas.
The four tracks available for preview are Strawberry Fields Forever, Octopus' Garden, Lady Madonna and While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and they are really interesting presentations.
I'm generally not big on remix albums, but this project has the blessing of Paul, Ringo, Yoko and Olivia. The project was actually instigated by George and his friend Guy Laliberté, one of Cirque de Soleil's founders, before George's death.
The LOVE album will be released Tuesday, November 21 in North America, and a day earlier in most of the rest of the world.
