S$# 017 Beatles | Here Comes The Sun

Here Comes The Sun is my favourite Beatles song. George really nailed it with this one. My top 10 list of Beatles songs is constantly changing, but this one is always on top.

It's got wonderful acoustic guitar, strings and synthesizer, and George's clear vocals bring smiles to the faces of the listeners. The greatest thing about the song, though, is its inherent, enduring optimism:

Here comes the sun, do do do do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Little darling
It's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling
It feels like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun, do do do do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Little darling
The smiles returning to the faces
Little darling
I seems like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun, do do do do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Little darling
I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been clear

Here comes the sun, do do do do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Here comes the sun, do do do do
Here comes the sun
It's all right
It's all right

The song is from Abbey Road, of course, and is also featured on 1967-1970, the blue album.
