Who won that award?
Here's a great source for lists. The Los Angeles Times has a great section on its web site called The Envelope - a listing of winners of 102 different sets of awards. It covers a wide range, from the Academy Awards to the Writers Guild Awards. Even the Chlotrudis Awards and Junos are included.
The listings are not quite up to date - 2004 seems to be the most recent year - but beyond that they're pretty extensive.

Some interesting tidbits from the site:
Graham Shaw was selected as Most Promising Male Vocalist for 1981 at the Junos, beating out Bryan Adams and Long John Baldry. (I'm not sure why Long John would be thought of as a newcomer in 1981!)
Jesus Is Coming Soon by R.E. Winsett was the Song of the Year at the first Dove Awards in 1968.
Peter Weir was voted Best Director for The Truman Show at the 3rd Florida Film Critics Awards in 1998
